The Scottish SPCA is appealing for information after three newly born puppies were cruelly abandoned in Perth.
Scotland’s animal welfare charity was alerted after the pups were recently discovered by a dog walker in a small patch of woods in North Muirton .
Sadly one of the pups had to be put to sleep but the remaining male pups, called Sharky and George, are now being cared for at the charity’s centre in Dundee.
Scottish SPCA inspector Robert Baldie said: “We are concerned for the welfare of the pups’ mother and any remaining litter mates.
“If anyone can help us trace the person who owned them we would urge them to come forward.
“We will continue to look after Sharky and George until we can find them loving new homes.”
