Supreme Petfoods announces 2018 trade show schedule

Supreme Petfoods has a full program of trade shows and veterinary conferences throughout 2018. The company will be at Interzoo in Germany, which is the biggest international pet trade fair. Customers can also catch up with the team at Global Pet Expo, Superzoo, VMX 2018, Exoticscon, New York Vet Show and veterinary congresses in the UK, France, Benelux and Germany.
Marketing Manager Claire Hamblion is promising that some new and very exciting products are in development and will be featured at the events. She says the company is keen for retailers and veterinarians to see the new and innovative portfolio, as well as the award winning Selective Naturals treats range and grain-free options.
Claire says people come to check out the products and also learn more about the needs of small pets, “There’s a real hunger for information about feeding small pets and as we cater for a wide variety of species, we have lots of expertise to share. It’s always great to hear feedback and to be able to help retailers and veterinary professionals source the information they need to support pet owners.”
Retailers or veterinarians can contact Supreme for a voucher for free entry to Interzoo. The event is the world’s biggest trade fair for the international pet industry and attracts manufacturers, wholesalers and service providers from over 60 countries. According to Claire, “Interzoo is the ideal place to pick up on new industry trends and insights. The suppliers bring it all to life and can put retailers on the path toward a bigger, better business.”
For the first time in five years, Supreme will return to Global Pet Expo, run by the American Pet Products Association (APPA) and Pet Industry Distributors Association (PIDA) at booth 5684.
Supreme also occupies booth 3156 at Superzoo, following a successful and award winning presence last year and attends a number of veterinary events around the world including VMX 2018 (the Veterinary Meeting and Expo, formerly known as the NAVC Conference) in Orlando. ExoticsCon, in Atlanta, Georgia, the eponymously named New York Vet Show, France Vet and the British Small Animal Veterinary Association congress.
Nutrition plays a vital role in the health of small pets and the consequences of feeding less than optimally are serious, with dental disease and gastric problems particularly prevalent. The Supreme team will be available to discuss the nutritional management of cases and can signpost to a range of resources both online and offline.
Claire says she always returns from such events tired but inspired, “Networking, identifying trends that can be adapted for small pets, learning something new and finding out about the real-life experiences of our customers is amazing. We can’t wait to get started on this exciting show calendar.”
