In recent years, we’ve seen a lot of science on the subject of
antimicrobial resistance (AMR), and a lot of opinion – but
there hasn’t always been a connection between the two. In
this column, Carel du Marchie Sarvaas, Executive Director
of HealthforAnimals, explains that there has been a great
deal of misinformation around the rise of antimicrobial
resistance. This has been allowed to persist and has greatly
harmed our progress towards a solution.
