How to navigate the unpredictable and the unexpected will be central to the big issues stream at the association’s 2019 congress in Birmingham.
Telemedicine, pet passports and the availability of veterinary medicines are on the agenda at BSAVA Congress 2019.
Due to be held at the ICC, Birmingham and Arena Birmingham from 4 to 7 April, this year’s big issues stream has been designed to help veterinary professionals “steer through uncharted waters” by focusing on a central theme of ”How to navigate the unpredictable and the unexpected”.
Key developments
The big issues stream on 5 April will aim to keep delegates up to speed on key developments and challenges affecting the profession.
Adrienne Conroy, head of BSAVA policy and chairman of the big issues stream, said: “As a profession, we have a history of successfully dealing with the unpredictable and rising to the challenge of the unexpected, which, in many ways, have been the hallmarks of the past year or so and, no doubt, will likely continue to be so for the foreseeable future.”
