Antibiotics, as a shared human and animal resource, need to remain effective and available for all into the future, in the face of the challenge of antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Dr Grace O’Gorman of NOAH discusses how in light of this, efforts in relation to veterinary antibiotic use are therefore focused on antibiotic stewardship.
