Large capital entities are considering animal health as a place for investment, and current companies in the industry are reconsidering their innovation and product portfolio development strategies. There are a lot of technologies coming to the animal health market, either on the way to the human health market or because of the growing interest in investments in this industry. A Kansas City Animal Health Corridor-based innovation centre that focuses on the animal health industry has evaluated over 30 new or repurposed technologies in the past two years and made some observations about the emerging technologies and their varied pathways to market.
