Sarah Cockbill, Veterinary Royal Pharmaceutical Society clarifies some of the misunderstandings displayed by animal owners regarding how an animal medicine might be legally and appropriately supplied by a member of either the veterinary or pharmaceutical professions. The manufacture, licensing and supply of veterinary medicines is complex, and she concludes that it’s still unclear how Brexit will affect veterinary medicine legislation and licensing.
