The VICH 5 Public Conference, with the theme Reaching Out to the World, was held in Tokyo on 28-29 October 2015. The conference was successfully organised by the Japanese Veterinary Pharmaceutical Association (JVPA) to bring together veterinary product regulators and others. In this article, Hervé MARION, VICH Secretary, discusses the conclusions reached at the conference and the beneficial outcomes, including increased collaboration between VICH and non-VICH countries.
